My Apologies

Yes we will get things going very soon. I've been very behind in my email and that is one of the reasons I haven't been able to get to doing this as quickly as I'd like. I am looking forward to sending out our first proposed review list and getting the ball going. If you have any patience left then I ask you to use some with regards to this. Jackie and myself have other things going on other than answering email and blogging. We actually like to write, if you can believe that. I'm not upset with the email you send me. It's the unwanted email from every "Tom, Dick and Harry" who wants to get me in on the ground floor of some fabulous business, share stock tips, try to sell me almost everything under the sun, quite literally (although no one has yet tried to sell me the Brooklyn Bridge). What really annoys me is the number of people trying to scam God's people with promises of large sums of money if they will help them move their money out of the country for them, or those fake contests that you never enter but always seem to win. (Congradulations we have your Sony Laptop waiting for you to complete the confirmation request). God, our Father, has big pockets folks. The enemy knows it and he has all kinds of ways of getting his grubby little paws in after it if we are not careful. So be on guard while Jackie and I work to finalize some things and get out the first blog tour. And tell someone, if not about CFRB, then at least tell them about Jesus and how much He loves them. Coming Soon

With the growing interest in CFRB we should be able to begin planning our first blogging event. To that end reviewers will be getting a list of Titles of submitted materials with a short description. They will have a week to get back to us. After this we will chose one to be featured. The time and date of this must be in such a manner that Reviewers may have time to read the work and write up their reviews. It also must take in travel time, that is the time the book is in the mail before it gets to the Reviewer. For that reason we ask that Authors be prompt in sending out their material. Reviewers are reminded that the date you will be given is a "deadline" to post. We hope to keep this rather conservative so you will not have any difficulty, but failure to meet the deadline (unless you have a really good reason and contact us PRIOR to the deadline of that reason) you will be dropped as a Reviewer and charged for the book by the author. CFRB - LIVE and ONLINE

Okay, maybe that's a bit of an overstatement. Actually it is true. It's just that we can't do what we want to do until the people start signing in. I mean it would look kind of silly to have a review if we didn't have an author. And if we had an author and not a reviewer we would look just as silly. Of course, if we didn't have blog hosts all that silliness would be more or less moot because no one would know about it. So we've taken steps to get ourselves known and allow God to bring people to us. I am not certain how Jackie feels about this, but personally I would rather hold off on my own work until others have had their chance (and we've been able to work out more of the wrinkles).
